We back these systems with robust architectures using Node.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma, and integrate AI capabilities where they create real automation and value.Most importantly, we apply a business-first mindset to engineering. We build software designed for revenue, retention, and long-term success because we have done it for our own ventures. We partner with entrepreneurs, NFL players, and industry leaders to launch MVPs and scale complex systems across SaaS, mobile, and enterprise environments.

ABOUT JAKE RANDALL
I am the co-founder of Modall, a full-service software and mobile app development agency in Toronto that designs, builds, and scales custom products for startups, professional athletes, and enterprises.My co-founder and I are operators first. We built, scaled, and exited a Web3 startup before we even graduated university. That experience drives how we think about products, risk, and execution.Our journey started in 2019 at the University of Guelph. While I was earning my B.Comm in Management Economics & Finance, we launched a separate digital publishing venture and grew an SEO-driven blog to millions of visitors. From there, we built Modall Media, a performance marketing company focused on high-ticket lead generation. As our campaigns grew, we developed internal tools to support them, which evolved into the software platforms we build today.That evolution from marketing to engineering defines how we work. We do not ship features for the sake of shipping. We plan and build software around traction, revenue, and retention because we have had to do it for our own businesses. When we partner with a client, we act as a technical team that understands the business case, not just the spec.At Modall, everything is handled in-house from our Toronto office. We design and develop web and mobile applications, AI solutions, SaaS and multi-tenant platforms, MVPs for new ventures, and complex internal ERP and automation systems. We manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through development, deployment, and long-term support, ensuring quality and speed under one roof.We have partnered with entrepreneurs, NFL players, and established companies including PizzaForno and TFI Canada. Our team has released open-source tools, earned design recognition from and BestCSS, and built software that drives measurable ROI for our partners.Right now, my focus is on scaling Modall and building long-term partnerships with ambitious founders and industry leaders. We are also actively hiring high-agency developers in the GTA who want to ship fast and help us launch the next wave of startups and products from inside the studio.
