ABOUT JAKE MILLS-MEINER
Jake Mills-Meiner is the Business Management Leader of BCG’s Seattle office, where he oversees business operations, talent management, career development, office experience, and events for a team of 300+ BCGers. He is a member of the West System Management Team and the North America Senior Business Services Leadership Team. Prior to his current role, Jake was BCG’s Director of Strategic Initiatives for the West System (including BCG’s offices in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, and San Diego) and the North America Staffing Director responsible for digital enablement and change. He first joined the BCG’s Business Services Team as a Senior Talent Manager for the Seattle office, overseeing staffing, career navigation, and talent management for Associates, Consultants, and Project Leaders in Seattle, and serving as the staffing business partner for the West System’s technology, financial institutions, industrial goods, and public sector practice areas.Jake joined BCG in 2015 as an Associate in the Washington, DC office, and was a member of the consulting team through Project Leader in the London, Boston, and Seattle offices. As a member of the Consulting Team, Jake worked primarily on casework in: transportation and logistics; large scale change; aerospace & defense; people and organisation design and transformation; and supply chain and operations strategy.Jake is passionate about the intersection of people, operations, and commercial strategy. He holds deep experience in strategic implementation, program and process management, and executive communications. He graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School, earning an MBA with High Distinction. He holds two bachelors degrees, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and Marketing & Operations Management from The Wharton School. Originally from New York, Jake is proud to now call the Pacific Northwest home. He has earned the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines with merit, and Level 2 with distinction. He enjoys food, wine, travel, music, UW Husky football, and the Seattle Kraken - passions he shares with his husband, Brett, and dog, Moira.
