ABOUT JAKE LANCER
I’m a play-by-play announcer and sports management major at the University of Michigan with experience calling games since high school. I spent a year and a half at the Newhouse School of Public Communications, where I built a strong foundation in broadcasting before continuing my academic and professional development at Michigan. Attending UofM and pursuing a career in sports broadcasting has been a lifelong goal, and I bring a meticulous, preparation-driven approach to every broadcast.I’ve called live games, produced sportscasts, and worked in student media, with experience building broadcast boards, conducting pregame coaching calls, and delivering clear, engaging play-by-play in real time.
