The ISSE project consists of 8,500 linear feet of 54-inch Reinforced Concrete Jacking Pipe (RFP-J) with cast in place HDPE liner by microtunneling, including a curved section, 7 caisson shafts, access manholes, and a shallow creek crossing. The 54-inch pipeline is installed in difficult ground consisting of cobbles, boulders, gravels, silts, and clays. Lower Olentangy Tunnel (LOT), City of Columbus, Columbus, OH. Project Engineer for the detailed design, coordinated the development of drawings, specifications, engineer’s cost estimate, and construction schedule. LOT is a 12-foot-diameter, storage and conveyance tunnel with several sewer connections that will relieve combined sewer overflows into the Olentangy River in Columbus, Ohio. Bay Park Conveyance Design-Build Project, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Nassau County, NY. Design Quality Manager for the project, which includes engineering design services for 3.5 miles of force main microtunnel and 7.3 miles of force main aqueduct rehabilitation and sliplining. City Island Crossings, NYC Dept of Design and Construction, Bronx, NY. HDD specialist, assisting in providing contractor oversight and on-site inspection during HDD operations. The project consists of construction by HDD of two subaqueous water tunnels under Eastchester Bay from Pelham Bay Park to City Island. Golden Ears Forcemain and River Crossing, Metro Vancouver, Langley, BC Canada. Provided contractor oversight and on-site inspection during horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations for two 36-inch-diameter, 5,400-foot-long sanitary sewer forcemain crossings near Langley, BC.
