About Jake Jensen

After graduating from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management in 2016 with a degree in Business Management, my career started with PepsiCo’s Pepsi Beverage Group. I entered the company in the Executive Management Training Program. I started with managing the local Walmart execution and special programming in Sam’s Clubs in Salt Lake City, and the beginnings of Project Park City. In that position, I began developing my leadership style through influence management with the 36 salesmen and 30+ merchandisers. My next position in Salt Lake was the Merchandising Manager. I was given my first team to manage and develop in the future sales team for the company. I co-managed 35 merchandisers, and continued to develop my authentic leadership style. In June 2018, I was promoted to the Sales District Leader for the convenient stores and gas stations in the in the Greater Salt Lake area. I seek to execute our sales targets, but also provide coaching and development to my team, as they are looking to progress in their careers. They are the future managers for Pepsi, and I want to see them progress!I am looking forward to more growth opportunities in the retail strategy side of the business as I strive to improve my sales and negotiating skills.
