About Jake Havran

I just graduated from Simpson College and majored in sports administration and minored in Management Information Systems. I was in the Sports Administration club and play baseball. I have worked at Simpson College athletics work study since my freshman year and I have done many things such as work shifts in the weight room, soccer ball chaser, ball boy for football games, scoreboard operator for volleyball, volleyball chaser and many more things. I have also worked at Urbandale High School Athletic Department since the summer of the sophomore year doing similar things, also doing item inventory, concession stand work, and helping set up and take down for home events. I also worked for the Iowa Wolves part time in October of 2021 helping fans out during the game, scanning courtside tickets, doing promotional events, and setting up the arena and taking it down after the game is done. I have many skills including adaptability, teamwork, responsibility, and communication skills. My future goals include gaining network skills at each of my jobs, learning new skills in my jobs, and getting promotions every few years. I am currently looking for jobs in any sports administration, information technology and project manager roles.
