   As an Assistant Structural Engineer for the Global Facility Services group, I work with an interdisciplinary team to design structures for a variety of clients, focusing in the Food and Consumer Products area. This position allows me to develop my skills in a variety of software programs, such as RISA, Bluebeam, and Revit. I also have the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of engineers and other key personnel working for clients in many industries throughout the world. This role has also allowed me to go in the field a number of times and interact with clients while creating solutions that fit their needs.\\\\n\\\\nBeyond my traditional job role, I also served as co-leader of the New Professionals program for the Chicago regional office and its satellite offices for 2021 and 2022. This role allowed me to create events and opportunities for new professionals at Burns & McDonnell. Our group did this primarily through organizing professional development events, such as our graduate school lunch & learn, and organizing networking events, such as our annual White Sox outing.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
