About Jake Fair
I am a licensed attorney and CPA. I practiced law at Wright, Lindsey & Jennings for approximately seven years focusing on a mix of commercial litigation and transactional work. I then joined Simmons Bank to lead a group that oversees litigation across the entire footprint of the bank along with being the dedicated legal partner for various areas of the bank including loan operations, commercial lending, compliance, BSA, and fraud, among other areas. In 2024, I rejoined WLJ to focus primarily on banking and finance law. I earned my J.D. from the UALR Bowen School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2015. While in law school, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. In 2012, I earned a degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas. I also served as President of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and am a graduate of Leadership Arkansas, Class XV, and the Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy.
