About Jake Colligan

I have always been curious and fascinated by business. As time went on and experiences shaped my understanding of what business is, I found a passion for Accounting and Finance. The saying popularized by Warren Buffett,\"Accounting is the language of business,\" is very true. The way numbers can tell a story, beyond what is easily understandable, allows me to piece the puzzle together and gives me something tangible to see and to follow.I have surrounded myself with knowledge from peers, mentors, colleagues, and professors, all with the hope of learning from them. This includes student organizations such as the Big Red Investment Club and Stock Pitch, my current internship at Hudl, and all of my professors, who I value for guiding me through my undergraduate degree.After graduation, in 2028, I plan to pursue a CPA or CFA certification, to deepen my understanding of Accounting and Finance, and apply that knowledge to the workforce.
