As the largest multi-brand luxury retailer in the world, Saks Global is delivering luxury perfectly curated for each customer.• Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and administration of NMG’s enterprise-wide claims management program which includes workers\' compensation, general liability, employers liability, auto liability, property, and small claims.• Daily overview of company insurance carriers handling files in the US (including Texas non-subscription), ensuring special service instructions are followed and claims adherence.• Providing guidance to leadership, internal partners, stores, and distribution centers on all claim’s areas.• Reviewing and providing approvals for reserve increases, settlements, assignment of SIU, nurse case management and other related items.• Hold quarterly reviews utilizing analytics, audits and case valuations for productive discussions to resolve files and reduce overall expenses.• Improving claims processes to reduce friction and confusion between internal leaders, injured associates, injured clients, and claims examiners to drive best outcomes for claims.• Facilitate early settlement and resolution of claims keeping costs in line with industry best practices.• Managing defense counsel relationships and operating panel ensuring they are performing up to expectations and results are beneficial to the company.• Meet with potential vendors and contractors to create the best and most cost-effective outcomes for claims.• Utilize data and analytics to complete a root cause analysis post injury to ensure a reduction in claims and improve on the overall safety of our locations.• Attend deposition prep sessions, mediations and provide associate guidance for hearings and trials.
