   I founded Ravn to address some of the challenges I dealt with during my career. On multiple occasions, I experienced the effects of poor communications on the battlefield - these problems were particularly acute during the most intense moments. If we want our service members to make faster, more informed decisions that lead to safer outcomes, we *must* solve these problems. Especially today, where communications are fundamental to joint, multi-domain operations. Industry\'s approach is to build incrementally better radios. While always needed, better radios don\'t solve many of the fundamental issues. Real solutions will emerge when software eats communications - at Ravn, we\'re making that happen.
