ABOUT PRIYAM JAIN
I\'m a nearly-qualified Actuary and a qualified Chartered Accountant. I\'m currently working as a Senior Investment Analyst at Hymans Robertson - a leading UK-based actuarial and investment consulting firm. I provide investment advice to trustee, local government and corporate clients (AUM ranging from £100m to £3bn) on a wide range of issues. I\'m also a part of the Fiduciary Management Oversight (FMO) team, and Responsible Investments (RI) team. Previously, I worked with PwC in their Statutory audit department for 3 years, where I was part of the audit team of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to listed conglomerates, start-ups and small and medium enterprises. My time at the Big4 firm has given me an in-depth knowledge of various industries and has rendered me with the skills to prioritize my work, meet deadlines in an often-pressurized environment, and work well with multicultural teams. My experience of working with Credit Suisse (Dubai), Doha Bank (Qatar) and Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance (India) gave me an insight into the banking and insurance industry. A self-driven person and a problem solver, I have an analytical mindset and a knack for numbers. I wish to use my strong quantitative skills to bring a difference in the lives of millions of people.
