Assign, track, and carry out the designated team’s daily work assignments. • Perform standard, custom and specialized library preparation.• Independently perform extraction for various sample types following standard and custom protocols.• Lead sequencing wet lab tasks including qPCR, multiplexing, and sequencing run loading on Illumina and PacBio platforms• Review data, lead troubleshooting efforts, and oversee the preparation of key reagents.• Ensure proper operation and routine maintenance of Illumina and PacBio sequencing platforms.• Monitor run performance, perform routine maintenance of equipment, and communicate with external vendors.• Perform complex calculations and de-multiplexing data review.• Propose and support development processes.• Check inventory and replenish consumables.• Guide and support communication between internal teams for project related issues and questions to allow for on-time delivery to customers.• Train team members and assist with their development through regular feedback and additional training opportunities.• Support and be a back-up to Team Leads.• Carry out routine NGS lab duties and help with additional tasks based on business needs.
