An increasing number of modern organizations depend on physical assets (equipment, infrastructure) operating according to design specifications, safely and at reasonable costs. Industries, including mining, oil/gas, power generation, air transportation, life sciences manufacturing, chemical, pulp and paper, and steel manufacturing cannot longer afford the consequences of critical asset failures in their operations. When these failures are predicted, prevented, or detected ahead of time, failure consequences are avoided, minimized, or made irrelevant, saving millions of dollars for the organizations, saving countless human lives, and saving the environment from major impacts. I believe that this feat cannot be accomplished without maintenance and reliability teams well trained and knowledgeable of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and techniques.I help asset intensive organizations to improve their plant reliability & maintenance.I am an experienced Reliability Centered Maintenance expert, specialized in RCM training and coaching for Reliability and Maintenance teams. I am an Industrial Engineer by trade, trained by renowned RCM2 creator, John Moubray. I have 18 years’ experience in reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives, for clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, and Southern Africa. I have performed these RCM2 training and coaching, representing large consulting firms, including IBM Global Business Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ivara Corporation, and CH2MHILL among others. Have lead and managed business performance improvement projects in asset intensive industries like oil and gas, mining (copper, gold, coal & diamond), pulp & paper and life sciences. I am fully bilingual and can deliver RCM courses in either English and Spanish.
