During the past 20 years I have excelled at developing and launching new products, starting up and growing new businesses and turning around under performing brands in the accessories industry. I have earned a reputation for providing cross-functional leadership, vision, creativity, and business acumen in driving sales and revenue growth in highly competitive environments. As a hands on executive I have built and managed high-performing sales organizations and developed sustainable relationships with key internal and external decision-makers. Whether starting a business from the ground up or expanding companies into new brands and categories, I led teams into generating millions of dollars in sales. I am adept at linking companies with the best partners to build businesses outside of their current area and grow their distribution channels into e-commerce, chains, boutiques, home-shopping and off-price. I am skilled at not only making sure products/lines get placed but also identifying and training the best sales teams. My successes involved changing the look, feel and design of brands to re-invigorate them and bring to market. In this role I have sourced and negotiated with suppliers and distributors. I have applied my sense of humor, intuitive knowledge of fashion/trends, and exceptional communication skills to drive home and close sales. In leadership roles, I used critical thinking to exceed expectations and receive promotions. Although I am 100% self-sufficient, my commitment to my team and the company are unparalleled.
