ABOUT JAIME LAU
I’ve spent more than 15 years working in and around clinical trials and regulated healthcare technology, helping teams turn complex requirements into systems that actually work in the real world. What’s mattered most in my career isn’t shipping features quickly — it’s making good decisions when things are complex, regulated, and high-stakes. I’m most effective when I’m guiding teams through ambiguity, helping leaders see tradeoffs clearly, and creating enough structure for smart people to do their best work.Today, I lead enterprise-scale initiatives in the clinical trial space, partnering closely with pharmaceutical sponsors, engineering leaders, and clinical teams. A big part of my role is translation: aligning business goals with technical realities, helping teams understand why a decision matters, and ensuring leaders have the clarity they need to move forward with confidence. My leadership style is calm, direct, and team-first. I care deeply about building trust — with the teams I lead, with partners, and with executives who rely on the systems we build. I’m comfortable making hard calls, slowing things down when it’s the right thing to do, and pushing forward when progress matters most.I’m especially drawn to work where thoughtful product leadership directly supports how medicines are developed, tested, and ultimately brought to patients.
