ABOUT JAIME RAMIREZ

Throughout my 31+ years in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, I’ve navigated some of the most complex and high-stakes operations, leading teams, managing billion-dollar assets, and advising senior defense officials. My journey has been shaped by a steadfast commitment to leadership, innovation, and operational excellence. From building effective teams of up to 360 personnel to managing logistics for a $950M budget, I’ve consistently driven performance and efficiency. My leadership style is that of a servant leader. I lead by example all the time. My pace and drive influence my team, and this has driven exceptional performance in all my previous roles. I feel like I can connect with and harness everyone’s strengths, driving exceptional performance and bottom-line results.A defining moment in my career was serving as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for the 193rd Special Operations Maintenance Group, where I led a significant technological innovation by implementing Virtual Reality (VR) training for maintenance technicians and pilots. This initiative reduced aircraft downtime by 14% and projected an annual savings of $500K, blending technology with strategy to deliver tangible results. My time as Vice President of Operations at the National Guard Bureau was another milestone, where I managed logistics for $40.2B in assets across a vast network of aircraft. Through meticulous analysis and process improvements, I reduced depot aircraft downtime by 40 days, achieving a $5M cost savings.I’ve also had the unique privilege of serving as a Senior Policy Advisor on the Reserve Forces Policy Board, where I provide critical insights and recommendations to the Secretary of Defense. This role, along with my civilian experiences at Amazon and Kaolin Mushroom Farms, has given me a broad perspective on both military and corporate operations, sharpening my project management and leadership skills. When I’m not working, I love spending time at the Delaware Bay with family, and I enjoy working on my 1988 FJ62 Land Cruiser and have learned so much about stock market dynamics over the past four years.
