Built India team from scratch, including recruitment, onboarding and knowledge transfer from a 3rd party vendor. Defined and delivered technical strategy and architecture across trading platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with requirements. Partnered with Product and Commercial leaders to balance client-funded development with strategic investments. Championed AI tooling assessments and adoption (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT), which boosted engineering throughput and planning accuracy. Established an Architecture Board and chaired cross-team forums to drive consistent decision-making and service-based architecture design. Set up PMO function and cross-product release management processes, including stakeholder communications and risk management. Rolled out Jira Advanced Roadmaps to improve planning visibility and cross-team coordination. Defined vendor engagement framework (objectives, standards, SDLC adherence, access, documentation, exit strategy), improving consistency and accountability. Coordinated cloud compliance analysis for new product architecture. Selected by CEO to attend private equity owner’s Senior Leadership Academy. Although mainly remote, based in Edinburgh, I frequently travelled to Geneva, Cambridge, London and India to meet with stakeholders, clients and engineering teams.
