Responsible for the utilization of the strategic sourcing to capture real savings leading to effective supply base decisions. In addition, I oversee the strategic sourcing activities for Information Technology spend categories such as Infrastructure, Security, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Financial system, networking Operation & Maintenance, and Software Licensing, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions, while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels, work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Negotiation of license/software agreement with vendors like VMWARE, Oracle, Microsoft, Red Hat, Commvault, Tableau, Workday, SAP, Cloudera, Riskonnect, Rapid7 and IT, Telco and Security solutions. IT/Telco Hardware negotiation with Dell, EMC, Hitachi, Huawei, Brocade, Arbor, HP, Apple, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and other major vendors. Experience with negotiation of professional services for software development, application management, DevOps, Security Operation Centers/Security Managed Services, IT Managed Services and IT Office. Negotiations of IT/Telco projects and initiatives at global level including LATAM, Africa, Europe and USA and emphasis in Latam (Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Paraguay and Bolivia)
