As the System Director of Coastal Outreach & Strategy, I lead the execution of a 25-year affiliation agreement between UNC Health, UNC School of Medicine, and Novant Health, managing a $25M annual operating budget. I build trust-based relationships with external partners, leveraging my expertise in strategy design and project management to balance diverse research, clinical, and academic needs. My efforts focus on improving health outcomes and educational opportunities across NC, emphasizing children\'s health, health equity, and rural health.For six years, I served on UNC Health’s internal strategic planning team, where I led enterprise-wide initiatives that aligned strategic priorities across the health system’s diverse segments and support services. My role included guiding multi-year strategic planning efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategic priorities. I provided client management, project management, and facilitation skills, along with quantitative and qualitative analysis for projects such as the Triangle Strategy, UNC Medical Center and affiliate hospital strategic planning, service line analysis, and facility planning.As Director of Strategy and Policy at Wake County Public Schools, I led the development of the strategy management process to execute and monitor district strategy and policies. I also spearheaded the development of a 5-year strategic plan, including the district\'s vision, mission, value statements, goals, and measurable objectives.At Booz Allen Hamilton, I led strategic planning, business process redesign, and change management initiatives for defense and government organizations. Key accomplishments include establishing a strategy management model for a large Defense Agency, supervising metric refinement for the NC National Guard, and directing financial restructuring efforts for a DoD special operations organization.
