ABOUT JAIME GALVEZ
I founded The Economic Development & Government Engagement (EDGE), LLC, to provide customized consulting, representation, and training services. Leveraging 25 years of experience in acquisition and contracting across the federal and local government sectors. I provide strategic proposal guidance designed to resonate with stakeholders and drive success. I have over 23 years of dedicated service with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In my most recent role, I served as a Division Director and Contracting Officer in the Office of Acquisition and Grants Management. I have managed key contracts from inception to completion, with a portfolio valued at approximately $2.4 billion, developing some of the most innovative procurement solutions, saving taxpayers millions of dollars and thousands of labor hours. Having spent decades inside the system, leading the teams responsible for reviewing and selecting the contracts that secured billions of dollars in funding, I am uniquely positioned to deliver expert guidance through the complexities of the acquisition life cycle and the governmental procedures that shape it. Before beginning my career in acquisition, I served in the U.S. Navy for nine years as a Hospital Corpsman (Medical Lab Technician). My training included instruction from the Navy, Army, and served three years with the Marine Corps during war time.
