Drive supply chain cost improvement and performance of inbound logistics through daily data analysis of freight and vendor data. Identify and evaluate opportunities for growing our managed freight service and enhancing internal and external performance, such as improvements to our Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and change management practices. Collaborate closely with Pricing, Category Management, and Vendors to determine the impact of vendor freight-in capitalized into inventory and expensed through cost of goods sold. Model inbound lane profitability solutions supporting freight revenue targets and service level improvements for our inbound supply chain. Support efforts to bring inbound transportation management in-house from a third-party logistics service and provide primary support for the inbound transportation TMS (E2Open) platform by performing system maintenance tasks such as carrier and user setup, payable rate setup, routing guide setup, integration troubleshooting, and carrier scorecards.
