ABOUT JAIDEEP SOHAL
I’m a Structural Engineer specialized in Temporary Works Design at BAM UK & I, designing safe, efficient, and buildable solutions for complex infrastructure and rail projects across the UK. From scaffold systems and Formworks to cofferdams and propping arrangements, I ensure every design is fully compliant with BS 5975 and Network Rail standards and, more importantly, makes life easier on site.I hold a Master’s from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor\'s from NMIMS University, Mumbai. I’m currently working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE) status with the ICE.Beyond the world of bolts and beams, I’m passionate about mentorship and professional development. I regularly support students through STEM outreach, ConstructED, and university engagement, and I’m proud to be part of ICE GWoS Early Careers.
