Communication function at the multinational conglomerate Aditya Birla Group for their ambitious new Paints Business (initial investment of Rs10k cr.) • Responsible for over all approvals, land acquisition, regulatory clearances & ESG Portfolio for the new greenfield business (PAN India role). • Made significant breakthroughs of initial footprints in the states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nādu, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, UP and West Bengal. • Delivered six greenfield plants (in above states), each with attractive incentive packages and complete regulatory on-boarding within a short span of 1.5 years. • Played key role in acquisition of industrial property a listed company in Maharashtra.(Due diligence, liaison, clearance from MIDC, lease transfer and smooth handover) • Built the state wise regulatory setup and Centralized monitoring for new Paint business units along with IT enablement. • Annual performance rated as – “Outperformed” (119% payout). • Successfully conducted two public hearings in the states of TN and WB. • Regulatory Clearance and setting up of a new Research & Development (R&D) facility (Aditya Birla Science & Technology Center -Taloja), including a pilot plant. • Signed MOU with Govt of Maharashtra in Dec.2021 • Leading the business environmental changes for positive stakeholder value • Identifying and engaging with relevant Socio-Political Agencies for creation of positive environment, goodwill & enhancing reputation capital for the business
