About Jahziel Ramirez
I am an early-career professional focused on Urban Ecology, Sustainability, and the intersection of data, planning, and public engagement. Currently pursuing a B.S. in Ecology with a minor in Urban Planning at the University of North Texas, I bring a growing foundation in research, proposal development, and community outreach. In my role as an Urban Ecology and Outreach Fellow with the Texas Trees Foundation, I support initiatives that enhance green infrastructure in public schools across the DFW area. My responsibilities include contributing to grant and proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, and collecting and analyzing program data to support strategic planning and reporting.
