Includes enhancements to areas like HLS playlist generation, DRM licensing, content watermarking, and data center/site reliability- Leads initiatives enhancing core on-device user flows (playback, authentication, account creation, and account linking) for Apple services including TV+, Music, Arcade, and Fitness- Owns cross-functional delivery of global live streaming initiatives, coordinating ingest, encoding, and CDN readiness to enable real-time content delivery at scale. Major focus on capacity, scalability, and performance KPIs- Orchestrated years-long migration from DRM license vendor Irdeto to internal licensing servers housed in Apple data centers, saving Apple 1.6 million dollars yearly- Launched new sign-in and account-linking flow (OOBE) with Samsung globally, allowing easy installs at time of setup for all new Samsung TV devices, equating to a 29% overall market share worldwide- Spearheaded projects with strategic external partners to launch Apple services on major platforms, such as Microsoft Store and Google Play Store – reaching tens of millions of new customers on a global scale.
