I’m an operational leader with over 15 years’ experience across healthcare and retail, currently working as Operational Director and Business Partner at Newmedica, supporting ophthalmology services across Gloucestershire and Swindon. I care about building services that are well run, patient focused, and genuinely supportive for the people working in them. Before joining Newmedica, I spent almost 12 years at Specsavers, and one of the highlights of my career was stepping into the role of Retail Director for a challenged business in Yate, with full accountability for the team, the culture, and the day to day performance something I was incredibly proud of what we achieved there. Alongside that, I held senior divisional roles supporting partners across the UK. I started out on the shop floor in family retail, and that journey has shaped how I lead today practical, people first, and grounded. I value trust, straight talking, and creating environments where people feel supported, challenged, and proud of the work they do.
