Lead the Risk team, managed teams building AI/ML models for KYC and Fraud management. These products enabled a reduction in the friction during the onboarding of customers while ensuring that fraudulent patterns of behavior are quickly flagged, resulting in a reduction in the amount of fraud that the platforms had to contend with, while simultaneously reducing the need for dispute handling and the manual review of docs and transactions.Project managed the build of out of next gen Crypto solution at SynapseLead team that built out the brokerage solution for SynapseFI. We have successfully migrated 11 customers over, totaling 20+ million dollars in deposits. This enabled maximization of the FDIC insurance for the monies and allowed Synapse to earn a higher interest rate with our partner banks. This required collaboration and alignment with stakeholders from Legal, Compliance, Brokerage, Sales, Customer support and Marketing.True to working at a startup, I filled roles as necessary and worked as a Scrum master and a program manager with a little bit of product marketing thrown in.
