Establishing a new cloud platform for the Card Service Business unit based on Azure service and Kubernetes (OpenShift) on Azure. Involved with establishing processes and procedures for the new platform, provisioning and administering the Azure Services and ARO clusters. Performed Cost-Beneft study of all the existing On-Premises applications. Planned for cloud migration of these applications in several phases. These phases were designed to minimize business risk while increasing the experience and efficiency of the development and operations organizations within Fiserv. Moving several existing systems from On-Premises to Cloud for Improved Efficiency, Faster Deployment and Cost Savings while maintaining security. Several strategies were employed depending on each system\'s expected life and importance within the company - Rehost, Refactor, Revise, Rebuild and Replace Establishing security procedures for the hybrid cloud solution including the design and implementation of data security, Istio mesh, monitoring and logging using ElastiSearch, Splunk and Kibana. Automation of cluster upkeep with Operators, Terraform, Ansible scripts and other automation. Streamlining of development and deployment of software using Azure Dev Ops and Tekton pipelines with Helm Charts
