Experienced police professional & leader with 15 years’ service in policing, bringing together operational credibility, governance, risk and strategic leadership.In my current role, I oversee performance and investigative standards, completing audits, identifying risk, and supporting improvements to investigative standards. I have experience in policy development, and delivering multiple work streams. I regularly engage with leaders and stakeholders to improve consistency, accountability, and outcomes.Alongside this, I am a Federation Representative and Federation Equality Lead. I am trained in conduct, equality, ill health and injury on duty. I have experience supporting members with equality-related matters, including discrimination, identifying risk and reasonable adjustments. I have an understanding of equality and anti-discrimination law.I am also the co-founder and former Vice President of the National Sikh Police Association UK, a national police staff association. At a national and board level, my role has involved setting a strategic direction, developing and delivering national workstreams, and representing the organisation with the NPCC and other national bodies. The role involves stakeholder engagement, governance, influencing policy discussions, and ensuring the voices and lived experiences of members inform change at a strategic level.Academically, I hold a BA (Hons) a Master’s degree in Leadership and Organisational Strategy (Distinction). This academic background underpins my approach to leadership, organisational change, and ethical governance.I am motivated by work that improves performance, manages risk effectively, and delivers fair and inclusive outcomes and working environments.
