WORK HISTORY
Global Programs Assistant @Northwestern University - Kellogg School Of Management
Evanston, IL, US
As a Global Programs Assistant, I have experience with foreign country research, completing administrative duties, creating various graphic designs, and working with technical applications, such as OneDrive, Smartsheet, and Excel. I conduct weekly risk management reviews on 30 foreign countries. I must be aware of any policy or law changes, protests, natural disasters, or anything that would cause conflict in the respective country. This research is conducted to ensure that when incoming Kellogg students are sent to these locations for KWEST - a program that students can participate in before their first year at Kellogg, which fosters cultural literacy - they are sent into a safe environment. In addition to conducting risk management research, I also complete several administrative duties, such as assisting in the creation of a BIPOC Ask Me Anything about international travel before KWEST and the creation of catering menus for events. I am experienced in Canva - a graphic design website. I have created numerous flyers, timelines, and infographics in Canva. In addition to having proficient Canva skills, I am also experienced in OneDrive, Smartsheet, and Excel. I have used Smartsheet and Excel to manage information, and I completely reorganized our OneDrive to streamline data management.
