Developed and manufactured 12-foot hyperloop track, emergency buffer stop and leveling system designs using CAD for 350 lb electromagnetic levitation hyperloop pod• Dedicated 120+ hours per semester toward developing and manufacturing hyperloop transportation infrastructure• Interfaced with various subsystems including levitation and propulsion teams, focusing on design constraints including factor of safety, weight, size, and balance• Performed FEA simulations on 5+ in-house manufactured components to verify strength and ensure design compliance• Machined alloy steel and aluminum track elements using drill press, angle grinder, welder, miter saw, and CNC machining to produce robust, reliable assemblies• Procured BOM with a budget with necessary manufacturing materials• Developed fully dimensioned CAD models in SolidWorks; applied GD & T to ensure precision and satisfy European Hyperloop Week Competition (EHW) safety documentation standards
