About Jae Horbacz

A registered Architect, Design Professional with 30+ years experience as a Design/Build expert for exterior envelopes. Advanced concepts, products and codes are introduced to the design industry every year. Keeping up with the changes is important for any designer. Continuing education is essential. I love having the opportunity to pass on the experience and knowledge to others and assisting the design industry in the proper applications. In 2017 I joined the staff of Kemper System America to provide architectural assistance in design and specifications of KSA Water and Vapor Barrier Products designed for the complete building envelope and CE Seminars to the Design Industry. As a consultant, I am energized when facing the challenge and being given the opportunity to work with a Design Team from concept to reality. No matter how intricate or simple, if the marriage between the different elements which make up the design are not studied in detail your percentage rate for a potential point of failure will increase exponentially. As an architect you want to design a building that an owner will be proud of and that will last, and of course bragging rights. If it’s not designed correctly or installation is done incorrectly it can be a disaster all the way around. Large or small all projects are important. One should meet the challenges head on and work as if will be your name which will hang on the wall when all is said.
