Advised internal executive management team of concerns for Telestaff and UKG WFM systems due to configuration.•Discovered the true requirements needed in order to implement a working Telestaff and UKG system that fits the needs of 24-hour fire operations and public service needs•Work with 8 different fire unions across the US. •Work with UKG consulting firm to understand requirements according to union contracts and assist in the build of custom Telestaff and UKG WFM system•Go-live with Telestaff, UKG, and ADP system•Process payroll for 4 unionized pay group and 1 non-union pay group weekly/bi weekly payroll•Created a business cases to expand payroll department •Department building and team management •Identified existing fire union subject matter experts to assist in the build of Telestaff and UKG systems•Utilized subject matter experts to build out temporary internal payroll processes that mimicked previous parent company •Train subject matter experts on how to use Telestaff and UKG systems to update fire rotations as needed and review time cards for accuracy •Discover communication issues between Telestaff and UKG •Problem solve and develop workarounds to report accurate time due to consecutive 24-hour shifts•Utilize Copilot and Claude Enterprise to assist in the building of use cases, payroll department metrics, success plans, etc•Submit final approval after review of payroll•Identify and work to resolve payroll tax issues due to go-live being at the end of Q3.•Work with team to resolve W2 issues due to employees being eligible for the exemption of OT due to company being a fire department •Work with federal and state agencies to advise of change of ownership and review previous years tax documents due to the purchase of the original FEIN
