ABOUT JADYN PITT
I am a second-year LLB Scots and English Law student at the University of Aberdeen, combining my legal studies with practical leadership experience as the founder and legal director of two national student-led charities. My work is driven by a commitment to widening access to education and empowering students with the networks, resources, and opportunities to build successful careers in law, finance, and beyond. As the founding Legal Director and Trustee of the Legacy Association and Elphinstone Research Group, I have led on:Drafting and registering constitutionsCoordinating trustee boards and governance frameworksEnsuring compliance with charity law and regulatory standardsDeveloping sustainable structures for student-led research and outreachAlongside these roles, I serve as Legal Director of the Aberdeen Legacy Association and Elphinstone Capital Management student societies, where I support students in expanding their professional networks. I also contribute to the wider student community as Fundraising Coordinator for Just the Tip (HIV and AIDS Awareness Society) and have previously served as Secretary of the Boxing Society, strengthening my teamwork, negotiation, and organisational skills.Beyond my university activities, I am proud to be both a Robertson Trust Scholar and a Juniper Trust Associate, programmes which have further developed my focus on social impact, governance, and leadership development. My long-term goal is to expand student-led networks internationally, creating a global platform that provides free educational resources, alumni connections, and professional mentorship for students across all backgrounds. I welcome connections with students, professionals, and organisations in law, finance, and the charitable sector who are interested in collaboration, governance, or building impactful educational projects.
