ABOUT JADEN TORRES

During quarantine at the age of 14, I was watching a movie and one day my brother had asked if I would assist him in a tile flooring job, I have always been an athlete, never picked up a hammer ever and I was the least handyman on earth. I agreed, as I never say no to my brother, and during the 3 week period of working I had grown a love for an industry that I would have never thought I would have a passion for. We then started a small residential renovation construction company expanding to decks, tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, fencing, and full interior remodels. I continued throughout my high school years, working after classes, Monday through Friday, and a full day on Saturday’s. This has led me to a complete career change, and I continued to go on to pursue a Bachelor of Science Construction Management at Roger Williams University. During my Undergraduate, I interned for Dimeo as a Project Intern. I worked on the Tollgate High School, being in charge of Daily logs and daily Boots-on-Ground Headcount. Assisted throughout the summer with RFI\'s and Submittals Create and Reviews. Created and Assisted updating Submittal & Material Tracking logs, Attic Stock Transmittals, Mock-up & Special Inspection Schedules, and HoloBuilder for the site. Received my OSHA 10 certification.Currently at RWU I’ve built knowledge in all 4 sectors of construction as well as being exposed to Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Naviswrks, Bluebeam, Procore, Revit, etc. My current GPA to date is a 3.4After 2 years at RWU and my internship I have grew a deep strong passion to pursue a Superintendent/Project Manager role in Commercial/Residential Construction.
