As the first in-house HR professional in the business, I’ve built and now lead the entire HR function, operating as solo HR across a growing team of 60 employees.I work closely with directors, line managers, and cross-functional teams — to ensure that people strategies align with business goals. I advise on complex employee relations matters, escalate when necessary, and ensure legal compliance in all HR practices.I implemented a new HRIS, overseeing the full data migration and creating processes for on boarding, absence, and performance management. I also lead recruitment across all departments, contribute to workforce planning, and ensure consistent and compliant hiring processes.Acting as a strategic part of the team, I coach and support managers on performance, engagement, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution. I also lead on wellbeing, employee experience, and the continuous review of policies and procedures to meet evolving business needs.
