About Jade Jaimes Chavez
I’m a student at the University of California, Berkeley originally from Fresno, CA pursuing a dual degree in Ethnic Studies and Data Science, and plan to obtain a Master’s in Public Administration after my time at Cal. My intersecting identities as a first-generation Mexican-American woman of color have shaped my aspirations to pursue a career in policy and government to increase resources for historically minoritized communities. With my study in data science, I aim to transform how technology impacts policy to serve my respective communities. I am actively searching for internships, fellowships, and research opportunities that relate to public policy and data science.
