Singapore, SG

During my internship at JLL, I helped contribute to the development of ‘One JLL’, a comprehensive resource designed to provide clients with an integrated view of the company’s services and capabilities. I collaborated closely with my team to research and compile information in a format that is easy to navigate. Through this project, I built up my skills in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and learned how to work effectively in a team environment. I also strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and organisation skills, while gaining first-hand experience of how collaboration can create real value for clients.

ABOUT JADE FOSSICK

As a dedicated BA Sociology graduate from the University of Exeter, predicted a First Class degree, I am eagar to bring my skills and experience into a fast-paced and dynamic environment, particularly within the AI and tech industry. I am passionate about working in innovative spaces where I can continue to learn, grow and contribute my skills. My studies have given me a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, social patterns and how people make decisions, skills I believe are directly transferable to sales, customer-facing and commercial roles.Beyond my professional experience, I co-founded Lucky You Swim alongside my sister - a swimwear brand specialising in reversible bikinis and tankinis in bold, playful colours, giving customers two looks in one. Building the brand from scratch has given me a real-world education in entrepreneurship: identifying a gap in the market, developing a product, and taking it from concept to customer. Together, we have led every stage of the business - from establishing a brand identity and growing an audience organically, to managing product development, content creation, digital marketing, and customer experience. This has meant taking on multiple roles and making commercial decisions with real consequences, sharpening my ability to collaborate, execute under pressure, and turn ideas into tangible results. Lucky You Swim has taught me that launching a brand requires not just creativity, but discipline, adaptability, and the confidence to keep building even when it is hard.Alongside my degree, I have gained valuable hands-on experience across a range of roles. I completed a marketing internship at Jones Lang Lasalle, where I developed my understanding of professional environments and commercial strategy. I also worked at Ascot Racecourse in a customer-facing betting assistance role, where I learned to work quickly under pressure, handle money with care and diligence and resolve customers problems on the spot, often in a fast and demanding environment.Outside of academics and work, I completed an eight-week training camp and competed in my university’s Fight Night boxing competition, a challenge that pushed me physically and mentally and taught me the value of discipline and commitment.
