ABOUT JADE BHOGAL
Skills and Attributes - Eager and willing to learn - Communication - Empathy - Critical thinking - Leadership, support and education - Teamwork and independent work - Attention to detail - Problem solving - Emotionally intelligent and self aware - Flexible - Works well under pressure Bio I began my career as a Customer Assistant at 16 while studying for my A-Levels with all intention, and the grades achieved to study at university. I learnt all I could and became efficient and knowledgeable in our services, offers, operations and areas of sales while balancing work with my studies. My passion, teamwork and energy was spotted by the Store Manager who highlighted me for progression and at 18, I became an Assistant Manager choosing to follow the path I had found in retail and pharmacy. Part of this included training as a dispenser in order to fully support the pharmacy team as a leader - I soon found a new passion which led me to become qualified as a Pharmacy Technician, all while leading the store. Once qualified, I took the opportunity to become a Store Manager, a role I had been offered on many occasions prior. As a Store Manager, I led my store and pharmacy to improvement and success, and becoming the chosen store to trial a new sales initiative effecting the whole store and attracting the attention of the Company CEO. My passion for patient safety and customer relations then led me to be chosen for a role in the Superintendent Pharmacist\'s Office, resolving patient complaints and assessing and analysing incidents and both colleague and patient feedback. My Journey has now led me to the position of Practice Manager in a GP Surgery for which I utilise all the skills and knowledge gathered over my 10 years. As a healthcare professional with a passion for mental health, I became qualified as a mental health first aider and instructor via MHFA England in 2020-22, helping to support our colleagues with mental health and crises in the workplace. Mental Health First Aiders are crucial to helping boost employee wellbeing as we adjust to a profoundly changed workplace environment. We want a society where everyone can thrive. We believe in zero stigma surrounding mental health. We want mental health to be openly discussed and supported. We want our training to create an unshakable belief that we can all talk freely about mental health and seek support when we need it.
