ABOUT JADE BALLINGER

A resilient, curious and analytical Engineering Project Manager, with a passion for complex problem-solving; my ambition is to remove the barriers that prevent exceptional teams from achieving exceptional results. I bring a systems-thinking mindset, cross-functional leadership, and a drive to deliver meaningful change through innovation, adaptable processes, and operational efficiency.I began my career through a groundbreaking degree apprenticeship with the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of engineering disciplines from day one. Alongside full-time work in a world-class R&D environment, I studied for a highly demanding engineering degree—developing not only technical depth but the resilience, time management, and communication skills needed to thrive under pressure. I specialised in mechanical engineering and structural analysis before pivoting into robotics and, later, project management—where I found my stride leading complex portfolios and shaping how teams work.Beyond delivery, I’ve taken a leading role in developing and rolling out tailored PM systems and tools—driving improvements in visibility, consistency, and delivery speed across global teams. From implementing scalable processes in Jira and Confluence to aligning programme delivery with strategic goals, I work to enable high-performing teams and sustainable growth.Passionate about building inclusive, supportive work environments. I actively champion women in engineering, advocate for mental wellbeing, and believe that how we work is just as important as what we deliver. Outside of work, I’m energised by fitness, personal growth, and all things Formula 1.
