ABOUT JADA R. TARGETT
UCL IMESS Scholarship Holder I am post-graduate student of the IMESS cohort (International Masters in Economy, State & Society) at University College London (UCL). IMESS is a multidisciplinary program jointly run by UCL and leading European universities, focused on economics, politics, and regional studies.I am pursuing the International Economics & Politics track, which provides advanced training in comparative politics, international relations, and economic analysis, with a strong emphasis on quantitative research methods and policy applications. I will complete my first year at UCL in London, followed by a second year at Charles University in Prague, where I will conduct regional specialization and write my dissertation.I recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, with a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration at Kenan-Flagler. I completed an honors thesis studying the effects of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) on intergenerational mobility.
