University of Connecticut junior studying materials science and engineering with practical research experience at the Institute of Materials Science & Engineering (IMSS). I worked with Timken Steel and Dr. Frame this summer to prepare specimens for microstructural investigation, grind and polish steel samples, and apply heat treatments in order to investigate the effects of phase composition and grain shape on residual austenite stability. Certified in biomedical research ethics (CITI Program), laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, and waste management (SciShield by SciSure), and American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. enthusiastic about using materials science to solve practical manufacturing and aerospace problems. I\'m looking for a summer internship in 2026 to help with my skills in materials characterisation, heat treatment procedures, and manufacturing optimization.
