WORK HISTORY
Advocacy Coordinator @World Relief
Durham, NC, US
As the Advocacy Coordinator for World Relief, I lead state and federal advocacy efforts to promote just and compassionate policies for immigrants and refugees. As the North Carolina State Lead for the Refugee Advocacy Lab, I spearhead initiatives to expand language access, improve teacher licensure pathways for internationally trained educators, and secure in-state tuition for long-term residents. At the federal level, I work to advance policies that strengthen refugee resettlement programs and create opportunities for newcomers to integrate and thrive in North Carolina. Through strategic advocacy, coalition-building, and direct engagement with policymakers, faith leaders, and community partners, I help shape policies that foster a more welcoming and supportive environment for immigrants.
