Draft, analyze, and respond to pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, settlement agreements, stipulations, and releases. • Review, analyze, draft, and revise a wide range of contracts.• Prepare lay and expert witnesses for giving testimony at depositions and trials. Conduct and defend depositions of parties, non-parties, and expert witnesses. • Conduct hearings before New York State Supreme and Appellate Courts. Take and defend appeals before the New York State Appellate Divisions.• Engage in private and court-ordered mediations and settlement conferences. • Provide comprehensive client support, communication, and ongoing legal analysis and strategy including preparation of detailed litigation reports in accordance with each client’s reporting guidelines. • Routinely negotiate favorable settlements.
