This role is for the creative problem-solver who explores innovative ways to bring the Hannaford brand to life for customers and associates; using expert copywriting and design skills to create integrated marketing tactics across print, décor, digital and social channels.Primary responsibilities include-Design lead and project manager for complex creative work that supports strategic marketing plans and branding initiatives-Translates strategic briefs into creative campaigns to be deployed across a variety of print and digital tactics-Responsible for all aspects of design solutions including copywriting and art direction of photography and illustration-Thinks strategically and collaborates effectively with Marketing Strategists, internal and external partners to develop marketing and design solutions that support Hannaford’s business strategies and branding objectives-Translates strategic briefs into effective marketing campaigns by applying in-depth knowledge of our business and changing market conditions to create highly relevant and targeted design and communication solutions-Has the knowledge and experience to clearly articulate how their creative solutions solve strategic business problems to a wide audience of stakeholders and effectively present and sell ideas to peers and senior leaders across the organization-Accountable for managing projects executed by outside agencies and design resources, providing comprehensive art direction for photographers, illustrators, freelance artists and videographers that is consistent with established brand standards-Solid understanding of label and package design standards and best practices for occasional packaging assignments.
