As my one-year anniversary with Penn Interactive approaches, it feels right to reflect on the tremendous amount we have accomplished. In my first year as Vice President of Human Resources at Penn Interactive, I set out to build a strong, scalable HR foundation by establishing clarity, consistency, and alignment across the organization. We successfully implemented clear, repeatable people processes; designed and executed a comprehensive job architecture framework and compensation strategy; and led the integration and harmonization of HR systems to better support a growing, complex business. These efforts created transparency, improved decision-making, and positioned HR as a strategic partner to the organization.Equally important, I focused on strengthening and unifying a global HR team comprised of HR Business Partners, HR Generalists, Project & Program Managers, Data Analysts, and Talent Acquisition Recruiters. Through intentional skill development, clearer role definition, and a shared operating model, I elevated the team’s effectiveness, collaboration, and impact. By fostering trust and accountability, I enabled the team to deliver more consistent, high-quality support to leaders and employees worldwide.I accomplished these outcomes by leading with vision, grounding the work in purpose, and driving disciplined execution. By aligning teams around common goals and unifying them through shared standards and values, I transformed HR into a cohesive, forward-looking organization equipped to support Penn Interactive’s continued growth and success.None of this would have been possible without an exceptional team that consistently rallied around our goals and the work we set out to do. I am deeply grateful for their tireless efforts, resilience, and commitment during a year of significant change and execution. Their dedication and partnership were critical to our success, and I would not have achieved these outcomes without them.
