MWH joined forces with Stantec in May 2016, with migration to our new company name in January 2017. My responsibilities remain somewhat similar to previous position with MWH. In addition to preparing drawings, I keep the production team busy by acquiring work from across our offices. Assist in budget preparation with Project Managers or PTL\'s. Make sure that the team understands the expectations and deliver within the timeframe requested within the budgetary requirements. As the leader, consistency is key-so I assign the work to the same team members to limit and downtime to get acclimated to the project. This ensures precise, on-time project deliverables. During slow periods, the team utilizes the time to enhance their skillsets by training on various production programs like Civil3d, Revit Structural & MEP, and Inventor. Also coordinate workload with the West division to share resources and workload to keep both teams busy. Have begun migration with Stantec personnel and projects.
