As part of the SLT team, I lead the strategic direction of the organisation in collaboration with the SLT including developing a new 15 year strategy and supporting 3 year business plan. I joined a newly formed department, in a newly created role, and have built four high-performing teams: Policy & Public Affairs; Campaigns; Impact & Innovation and Brand & Marketing. I\'ve established the vision and set up new processes and systems. During my time at Magic Breakfast I have led significant advocacy achievements including securing commitment to universal free breakfast provision for all primary school children in England, and the Bright Starts breakfast pilot in Scotland. Part of my role is to advise on reputational issues, and to act as a senior spokesperson delivering authoritative thought leadership. A critical development has been establishing networks and collaborating as part of coalitions, including reaching into new areas such as Early Years.
