As President and CEO of JTVF, I lead one of the largest funding organizations in western South Dakota, dedicated to addressing the needs of low-income families through strategic grantmaking and community collaboration. We envision a community where working families and thriving children reach their potential as we strive to carry out John\'s vision “to make a piece of the world a brighter place.\"Each year, we distribute around $8 million in grants, primarily focusing on the Rapid City area, with some funding extending to neighboring communities. We prioritize initiatives in affordable housing, early childhood, economic mobility, and basic needs. To date, we\'ve awarded over $100 million in grants, showcasing the power of collaboration and the ongoing commitment of our grantees.
